DACARPA
They don't rent tents. They see to it that the event goes well, rain or shine.
DACARPA is a family-run event-structures company — marquees, pavilions, flooring — based in Granda, Asturias, installing across Spain. David runs it.

The site sold objects — tents by shape and by the metre. But nobody hires DACARPA for a sheet of canvas. They hire it so an outdoor wedding doesn't hang on the weather, so an empty hall comes back finished and safe. That reputation existed — in word of mouth, in the directories — but not on their own site. And the marquee flooring, the part that wanted to grow, took up a single sentence.

The service was first-rate; the presentation, a catalogue. Closing that gap was the work — with one real complication. A good share of their clients arrive through searches resting on old, thin pages. A redesign that stripped out text could undo ten years of ranking. So the rule was plain: if a design change meant deleting what already worked, the design changed, not the page.
The site stopped listing products and started speaking about certainty — in David's own words: «serio, profesional, de confianza; no es barato, pero vale cada euro»: serious, professional, trustworthy; not cheap, but worth every euro. The navigation went from fifteen kinds of tent to five real customer situations. The marquee flooring, which had not one page, got its own.
The shouting all-caps headlines were switched off, and in front went the things that actually earn trust in this trade: the standards the structures meet, the materials, the years. The hand-drawn tent-peak mark and its green were kept. No URL that already ranked lost its content.
The part that wanted to grow finally has somewhere to. The reputation that lived elsewhere finally fits under its own roof. There are no figures to prove it yet: the site isn't published, and it's better to promise little than to invent a lot.
On those days, the sky stops being the client's problem.
