The Baxxter Boys

Five singles since July 2025, and a website with room for one.

The Baxxter Boys are a punk rock band from Göppingen who have been covering Scooter since 2018: a punk line-up plus synthesizer and kazoo. They run their own festival, Horseland, with the Fabrik für Kunst und Kultur.

In short
What we saw
Five singles since July 2025 and a site with a single slot: when a new one came out, the last one vanished.
What we changed
Their titles as a stack of stickers, all five singles in a chain — the original, Scooter, them — and a crossfader from rave to punk.
Status
Independent study, private build; their current site is untouched.

What we noticed

Their site has a single slot for the latest thing: when a single comes out, the previous one disappears, and Always Hardcore was never there at all. The Horseland page still said 2025, its ticket sentence ending mid-air, and past gigs were deleted.

And there was material of their own the site didn't use: a sentence unchanged since 2021 — «vereinigen Rocker und Raver, Bier und Extasy, Arsch und Eimer» — and a title they write differently every time, from the first to the best to the only Scooter-tribute punk band in the world: five variants.

The chain: The Night with the original, Scooter's version and theirs, and the crossfader from rave to punk

Why it mattered

Someone who has just heard a single has two questions: when are they playing, and where is there more? A site with one slot half-answers the first and not the second. And the humour that sets them apart — laughing at themselves, never at Scooter — lived on their social channels, not at home.

What changed

At the top, their titles as a stack of stickers: tap, and the next one appears. Below, the chain: each single with its cover, a line of their own and an excerpt — first the original, then Scooter, then them. A crossfader mixes Scooter and the band, rave to the left, punk to the right.

Horseland as a large flyer with their poster, the tickets and a video from the 2024 festival; and their sentence, pushed together pair by pair until it all fits. The excerpts are Deezer's official 30-second previews: nothing ripped. German and English, and built for the phone first.

What became possible

Their five singles are together again, and the band's humour finally lives at home. It's a study: their site is untouched and the proposal lives in a private, unindexed build. Publishing it would still need a legal notice, a privacy policy and the other photographers' permission.

Rockers and ravers, finally on the same page.
