Aperture is founded and directed by Carlos Romero, who remains the accountable author of every project.
How the studio works
One accountable author isn’t vanity; it’s the mechanism. When a single person carries an idea through every stage, the judgment that opens a project is still there at the end of it.
No team passes the business between them; no idea is translated from one hand to the next. One person opens the work, and one person answers for it.
Small isn’t the proposition; it’s the condition — a few projects at a time, worked on directly, with room for that judgment to reach every part of the work.
